The Life of a Personal Trainer!

As a health and wellness advocate, I'm often asked what my life looks like. How I train! What is my healthy body weight. Even how old I am! Lol, I think sharing this information can be vital for helping others set realistic goals for health and wellness in their own fitness journey.

Age 45

Height 5'7"

Body weight 150 lb

Body fat percentage 20.5

Training regime:

Consistency is key! 5 days a week, 2 days of active rest. 3 days strength training, two days of cardio and foundational/stabilizing training.

Nutrition:

Consistency is key! High protein, high fiber, healthy fats and low sugar is how I compose all of my meals! Weekly meal prep on Sundays includes cooking all of my protein and chopping vegetables so healthy options are ready. Caloric intake is often over 2,100 calories a day to keep up with my active lifestyle.

What healthy means to me:

A consistent life free from pain. A positive mental attitude. Regular daily activity and food that is nutritious and delicious. Being a realist I live by the 80/20 rule. 80% of the time my nutrition and fitness is on point. 20% of the time accounts for vacations, fun with my family and things I enjoy to include "sometimes" foods!
